Full Spectrum Lightweight Battery Technology

Full Spectrum Power produces the world's smallest, lightest, and most powerful motorsports batteries. Full Spectrum Power lightweight motorcycle batteries are designed and built in our Northern Virginia facility. Every component of our batteries has been engineered by Full Spectrum Power. This includes our patented Pulse series cases, which are made of a high temp ABS plastic. Our terminals are designed in house at Full Spectrum Power and are CNC Machined from the highest quality brass stock. Our cell interconnects are built to our specification, and are the lowest impedance in the industry. Every company in Full Spectrum Power's supply chain is located within minutes of our Northern Virginia facility. This helps ensure that our quality control is the best in the business.

Smaller Battery

On average, Full Spectrum Power batteries are 50% smaller than the lead-acid battery they are replacing. This affords you the opportunity to relocate electronics to the newly open space in the battery box, or to relocate the battery itself to a place where it might be placed out of the way for easier access. There are many advantages to the reduced size, depending on your specific application. Custom builders might want to relocate the battery to make way for a custom oil tank or exhaust. Racers may wish to relocate the battery away from the top of the bike to aid in left/right transitions and hard braking.

Lighter Battery

Full Spectrum Power was the first company to offer a lightweight motorcycle battery using LiFeP04 technology. On average, our lightweight batteries are 80% lighter than the lead-acid battery they are replacing. Our first battery was an 8 cell Superbike battery, which weighed just over 725 grams including the wiring harness. Since then, we have introduced 5 additional battery sizes in 2 different configurations, all while remaining the lightest motorcycle battery on the planet!

This has been accomplished with fanatical attention to detail in every aspect of our battery construction. We went through more than 10 versions of our Pulse case and 6 versions of the Pulse terminal before we arrived at our production specification. We also incorporate the feedback we receive from the factory and privateer teams that we work with, including Yoshimura Suzuki, KTM North America, Team M4 Monster Energy Suzuki, Celtic Racing, and hundreds of other AMA, WERA, and CCS racers and teams. Simply put, we engineer and build our batteries to do one thing: win races.

High Power Battery

Full Spectrum Power lightweight batteries offer higher cranking amperage than any other lightweight motorcycle battery. This is accomplished through fanatical attention to detail and continual refinement based on feedback and testing both in our laboratory, and on racetracks across the US.

Our P5 produces an astounding 600 pulse discharge amps, making it the most powerful lightweight motorcycle battery in the world- period. This battery has all but eliminated the need for expensive and complicated 12/24 volt starting systems commonly used on the worlds fastest and most radical drag race machines.

Full Spectrum Power lightweight batteries are based on A123 Systems Nanophosphate battery technology. These cells are light, energy dense, and very safe. Our lightweight batteries offer a very flat discharge curve, and exceptional voltage stiffness. This means that as the battery is being discharged, the voltage remains constant. This is very different from a lead acid battery which has a sharp discharge curve with voltage sag occurring as soon as the battery begins discharge.
